TAG: Seven Deadly Sins

Today I'll be sharing with you the Seven Deadly Sins tag. I hope you enjoy it. :)

1. GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?
My most inexpensive is probably something from ELF, MUA or MakeUp Revolution and the price is most likely £1.
My most expensive would be my Naked 3 palette from Urban Decay as it costs £37.

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?
I have a love/hate relationship with some bronzers/contours. It's hard to get the hang of it and some are too warm (orange) for my skin! Nothing has really been hard to get.

3. GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?
MAC lipsticks. Oh sweet heavens, that smell!

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?
Nothing really as I mostly always do a full face.

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?
Foundation. My skin is horrible and I love foundation as it makes my skin look flawless and even. I love Revlon Colourstay, L'Oreal True Match and Nars Sheer Glow.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
I like a guy that shows his emotions, has a sense of humour and is caring. Basically my lovely boyfriend Michael.

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?
Definitely the LORAC Pro Palettes, they're so hard to get hold of especially because I live in the UK.

GUEST BLOGGER LAUREN: Holy Grail Products

Hey guys! My name is Lauren and I blog on Cupcakes and Candyfloss Blog. When Daniella offered me the opportunity to create a guest blogpost I grabbed the opportunity with both hands because I would love to interact with you guys, her lovely and loyal readers.

I love make-up and if you are anything like me then you will too. The satisfaction of going to Boots, Superdrug or maybe even a high-end shop is thrilling (I experienced my first MAC visit earlier on this week and to check out my haul, click here).

July Empties & Mini Reviews - Skincare

Today is the second post in my July Empties. On Saturday I posted my make-up empties that you can read here and today I will be sharing with you all the skincare items I used up. I apologise for the photo's, I'm not a professional photographer and I can never get good photo's of empties, aha.

Lush Grease Lightening Spot Treatment: I've had this for ages but I did neglect it for a bit. It is good and it lasts for ages. It reduces the size of my spots and helps them heal faster.
Would I repurchase?
Probably, you do get a lot of product for the price.

July Empties & Mini Reviews - Make-up

Today I'll be sharing with you the make-up products that I have used up in the month of July. I never normally have any empty make-up products so you can really tell that I have loved something if I've used it all up! I'll be posting a separate empties post of all the skin care items I have finished so look out for that.

Maybelline Baby Skin: This is a pore perfecting and skin smoothing primer. I did really like this product, it fills pores and makes the skin silky soft. It can be a bit greasy though but when I had dry skin I found that it helped my foundation not stick to dry patches.
Would I repurchase?
Yes, at £7.99 it's a good alternative to Porefessional.

Home Decor Inspiration

Hi girls, today's post is going to be different to my usual posts. In this post I will be talking about home decor inspiration. Me and my boyfriend Michael are moving into a lovely apartment in just over a month and I can't wait to move in! The apartment is lacking in some furniture and I want to make it feel as homely as possible.

I'm sure that most of you may be on Pinterest already but for those of you that aren't you should really give it a go. It's create for collecting images together wether that be make-up, hairstyles, home decor or anything that takes your fancy.

I've recently been on Pinterest searching for home decoration inspiration. It's so easy because you can type in a specific room or just home decoration in general. I've come across some amazing ideas that I would have never thought of. The best thing is, is that new images are being added everyday so there's
always something new to look at or add to my board.

My home decor Pintrest board

I've been loving Gossip Girl lately and for those of you who watch it how gorgeous is Blair Waldorf's room? I really want some silk sheets for mine and Michael's bed as it looks so fancy and elegant and some are pretty affordable too. I love the idea of having loads of pillows on the bed and it makes everything really homely and nice.

I really like the idea of having a basket for your loo roll. I know most people just have a standard loo roll holder but this makes storing toilet roll more chic. If that was even possible!
I can't wait to move in to our new apartment and I'll definitely be giving you all a flat tour if you would like to see that.

Follow me on Pinterest or leave your links below so I can check out some of your boards.

TAG: My Make-up Story

I was tagged by Leah from Leah Talks to do the "my make-up story tag" so here it is!

1. How old were you when you started wearing make-up?
I wasn't fully into make-up when I started wearing it but I think it was around the age of 15.

2. How did you get into make-up?
I was into make-up because my friends were, but I only just wore a bit. Reading blogs and watching YouTube videos made me want to experiment with make-up a bit more. Before I never used to wear blusher, concealer or bronzer, just foundation, eyeliner and mascara. Crazy!

3. What are some of your favourite brands?
I love L'Oreal, Maybelline, Rimmel and MAC.

4. What does make-up mean to you?
Everything! I love everything to do with it wether it's applying it, watching videos, reading blog posts and writing up my own blog posts. Hopefully this will be my career - writing about make-up and trying new products.

5. If you could only wear four products on your face what would they be?
I'd definitely have to wear foundation and my choice is Revlon's Colourstay. I need definition on my eyes so I would use Maybelline's Black Shock eyeliner pen and Maybelline's The Falsies Mascara. I would use a cream blush, probably Revlon's Photoready cream blush, I'd apply that to my lips and cheeks, sneaky!

6. What is your favourite thing about make-up?
That there's so much out there! I like that there are new products being released as I love to try new things and I love expanding my collection.

7. What do you think about drugstore makeup vs. high end makeup?
I think drugstore make-up is amazing, especially mascaras. I love high-end make-up because it's a nice treat and it feels luxurious.

8. What is one tip of advice you can give a beginner?
Practice makes perfect!

9. What is one make-up trend you never understood?
I'm gonna agree with Leah's answer and say coloured lipstick. I think it looks daft and I don't think many people would actually wear it out the house!

10. What do you think about the beauty community on Youtube?
It's great! I love how that most people are really supportive and I love how they all know each other.

The Sunday Edit #12 feat. The National Forest & Heather Scarecrow Festival

Hey lovelies, it's been a super long time since I last spoke to you about what I've been doing in the past week, because I haven't been doing much! But this week I've been outside more and enjoying the lovely weather we have been having.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Review & Swatches

Hi lovelies, after a few months of using and loving my Naked 3 Palette the day has finally come to review it. This post is a collaboration post with Holly from Roses Beauty. You can check out her blog here where you will find her review of Urban Decay's Naked 1 palette.

I purchased the Naked 3 in April and I was so excited to use this well-known eye shadow palette. At £37 it's the most expensive palette I own. This was actually the first high-end palette I purchased so I was eager to swatch the shades and see how they differ to drug-store alternatives.
It comes with twelve eye shadows, shimmers, mattes, metallics and glitters. They are all rose-toned and I find they look great with my blue eyes.

L-R: Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick
Strange: A pale neutral pink that has a matte/satin finish. I like using this shade all over my lids to even the colour out or just on it's own with winged eyeliner.

Dust: This is probably one of my favourite colours from the palette. It's a gorgeous pale metallic pink with tiny glitters. It's a great all over the lid shade or as an inner corner highlight.

Burnout: This is a satin pinky/peach shade and it looks great all over the lid or blended into the crease as a transitional shade.

Limit: A light dusty rose matte shade. This makes a great crease colour or transitional shade if you are blending darker colours.

Buzz: This is such a gorgeous metallic rose gold with tiny silver glitter. It looks great all over the lid and really brings out blue eyes.

Trick: A light metallic copper shade with a pink under-tone. It looks great all over the lid like Buzz.
L-R: Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside, Blackheart
Nooner: This is a medium pinky/brown matte which is basically Limit but darker. It's a gorgeous crease shade.

Liar: A metallic mauve shimmer.

Factory: It's a pinky brown satin shade.

Mugshot: This is a metallic taupe shimmery shade with a slight pink tinge.

Darkside: Is a deep taupe mauve satin shade.

Blackheart: This is a gorgeous shade and although I rarely use it it's one of my favourite shades. It's a black matte shade with pink/red sparkle. It looks great in the outer v.

The pigmentation and softness of these shadows is incredible. I cannot fault one shadow. They're all different shades and they compliment each other really well. Urban Decay's eye shadows are phenomenal and I definitely recommend picking one of their palettes up. If rose-toned eye shadows are for you then the Naked 3 is right up your street.

What is your favourite Naked palette?
