Collection Primed & Ready Invisible Setting Powder | Review

Collection Cosmetics has a great range of products and their Primed & Ready Invisible Setting Powder really intrigued me so I had to try it!

Housed in a sturdy black casing with a clear lid, the powder retails for an
affordable £3.99.

With Witch Hazel its purpose is to help clear your skin while using the product.
Because I suffer from breakouts quite regular I can't say if it does help clear breakouts or not.

The powder itself is finely milled and sets down my base perfectly. It isn't cakey and it doesn't look powdery on the skin, it's also perfect for touchups.

If you're pale like me then you'll be pleased to hear it doesn't make me orange, wahey! So many drugstore powders do it can be hard to find one that doesn't.

I'd definitely recommend this product, it's amazing considering the purse-friendly price.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer | Review

This is possibly the most talked about product amongst the beauty blogosphere. Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer is a mostly well-loved beauty product amongst us beauty lovers. Saying that, it hasn't been featured on my blog before, what?!

2014 Favourites - Base Products

A bit late but here are my 2014 favourites! I’m going to have to split these into multiple posts as I had only started getting into make-up properly last year. So I have discovered a lot!

Primers

L’Oreal Lumi Magique
I love this primer because it gives me a luminous base without any glitter or shimmer, so I don’t look like a disco ball. When used underneath foundation it gives a beautiful lit from within glow. I also mix this product in with my matte foundations and sometimes use it as a liquid highlight. A multi-use product that is affordable is a plus for me.

Winter Make-Up Staples - #BigBlogmasProject2014 Day 11

Today I will be sharing with you the products I use to switch up my make-up routine for winter. In winter I like to break out the red lippies, the full coverage foundation and some glitter. Who doesn't love some sparkle around the Christmas period?!

Estee Lauder Double Wear and L'Oreal's Lumi Magique make the best base for me. For a full-coverage-lit-from-within-glow these products make the ultimate dream team. For an inexpensive glitter eye liner Collection's Glam Crystals are the perfect product. With a range of colours for only £2.99 they make a great present as well as adding some sparkle to this festive season. Make-Up Revolution's blush pallete has been my go-to. With six stunning matte blushers, one pink-toned highlight and a baked blusher there is always a blush to suit your look. Lipsticks are my weakness and  I love L'Oreal's Collection Exclusive Pure Red's as well as MAC's Rebel, Russian Red and Diva.

What are your winter make-up staples?

Christmas Sparkle MOTD - #BigBlogmasProject2014 Day Three

I've been loving adding a pop of glitter either under the lash line or next to my black eye liner flick. It's the perfect way to add a bit of Christmas sparkle to a make-up look. I'll be sharing with you the products I've been using to create a gorgeous gold sparkly eye. You can pair this look with any lip shade but red looks gorgeous. From my Naked 3 I used Strange all over the lid with Limit in the crease for a bit of definition.

Products: Urban Decay Naked 3, Estee Lauder Double Wear, L'Oreal Super Liner, Maybelline Colossal Mascara, L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer, Collection Glam Crystals, Funk, MAC Dainty Blush, Maybelline Matte Maker.

What products do you love for extra Christmas glam?

October Empties - Make-Up & Fragrance

Hi girls, I have sooo many empties from October (not too sure what happened...) so I'm going to split them into three different posts. I hope you enjoy having a peek into my rubbish!

MAC Fix+: It was a very sad day when I finished this bottle of goodness. I loved how this product refreshed and settled the powdery look of my make-up. It smelt amazing and added a bit of dewiness to my skin.
Would I repurchase?
Definitely. I keep on forgetting because the closest MAC is in Newcastle. :(

Maybelline The Falsies Mascara: As you all know I love Maybelline's Colossal Mascara but before I tried that I used The Falsies and absolutely loved it. I only used Colossal more because it was waterproof. If there's a waterproof version of The Falsies then I definitely need to try it.
Would I repurchase?
Yeah.

Collection Nail Polish Remover: I love how this nail varnish remover doesn't damage and strip my nails. It removes nail polish without drying them out. It removes glitter polish like a dream too.
Would I repurchase?
Yeah.

Avon Secret Fantasy Perfume: I'm not very good at describing perfumes but I will give it a go... The best way to describe this perfume is fruity. It's a gorgeous fruity scent that is so sweet and girly. I did really enjoy it.
Would I repurchase?
Definitely.

Soap & Glory Mist You Madly: Mmmm Soap & Glory always smells so so good so I'll leave it to the imagination on this one. This product is a fine mist that leaves you smelling gorgeous. It's great to throw in the handbag too, when you're in need of a pick me up.
Would I repurchase?
Yeah.

L'Oreal Nude Magique Blur Cream:
I did really enjoy this product, so much that I cut it up to get the last of the product. Haha, anyone else do that?! It blurred my pores and evened my skin texture out.
Would I repurchase?
Maybe, but I do feel like there are better primers.
What make-up items have you finished up lately?

Hi lovelies, I hope you are all having a wonderful day. Today I will be sharing with you my top ten products under £10. I love drug-store products so I thought this would be an interesting way to show you my favourites.

April Favourites

It's that time again, April is nearly over so that means it's time for a favourites post! I don't have many favourites this month because I didn't have any money to spend! But I'm sure my May favourites may be rather large as my student loan just came in on Monday... I think I need to put myself on a spending ban, ahah.

Maybelline Baby Skin Primer//VO5 Dry Shampoo/eBay tapered kabuki brush/Garnier Moisture Match Moisturiser, Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

What have you been loving this month? I'd also love to hear what you haven't been loving this month too!
