I don't have a lot of MAC products but what I have I love so much! So today I'm sharing with you my small... but growing MAC collection.
I have six products in total, two lipsticks, two blushers, a concealer and foundation. Everything I have is of great quality and long lasting.
The lipsticks that I have are Speed Dial and Speak Louder, they're both gorgeous cremesheen bright pinks. Speed Dial is a light pink and Speak Louder is a deep pink.

Mini MAC Haul
19:59
On Monday I went to Newcastle with my boyfriend Michael to go to a MAC counter as we don't have one here in Sunderland. I originally wanted to go just for MAC make-up but Michael insisted that it would be a waste of the 30 minute Metro journey (it would never be a waste, boys ey?) so we went to Pizza Hut and did some shopping. It turned into a cute little date with some rather expensive shopping...
When I first walked into MAC I had an idea of what I wanted to buy, this being the Pro Longwear Concealer, Prep 'n' Prime Highlighter and a lipstick. But when looking at these products I had no idea what shade to go for or what would work best so I asked one of the lovely MAC make-up artists.
I told her that I have pretty dark circles under my eyes that needed covering and I thought that I needed a lighter colour than my foundation to correct them. After telling the lovely artist my problem she explained how she uses a concealer darker than her foundation. At first I wasn't quite convinced but her face was so flawless so I took her advice in opting for one darker than my foundation. They had no NW20 Pro Longwear concealer in stock so I picked up the Studio Finish concealer instead, she told me that this was heavy coverage and it would even cover up tattoos! The make-up artist gave me a tester of the product to take home but I also bought it, she said I could try the tester and if I didn't like it I would get a refund, what a lovely idea. After using the concealer for two days now it's the best one I've used and I can see why she suggested a shade darker. Expect a review of this wonderful product soon.
I next went on to look at the blushers and lipsticks and ended up picking up Dainty, a beautiful mineralise blush. Then I went to the lipsticks and they didn't have in stock the first two that I wanted but there's so many to choose from I got a lovely cremesheme pink lipstick in the shade Speak Louder.
For all the trouble of nothing being in stock the make-up artist gave me a tester of a primer for oily skin as I'd explained that was my skin-type.
All of the MAC staff are so lovely and helpful so don't be afraid to ask! I now know more about make-up than I did before and I've got some amazing products! A successful but expensive shopping trip!

Benefit's Porefessional VS Maybelline's Baby Skin
18:59
Sorry there wasn't a post on Wednesday I've been busy learning shorthand at Uni (it's so hard o m g) so here's a post now to make up for it.
I bought Benefit's Porefessional the other week and instead of reviewing it by itself I'll compare it to Maybelline's Baby Skin (you can read that review here).

Packaging of both products
So lets start off with the visuals of the products. They both have lovely packaging, I love the shiny packaging of the Maybelline's Baby Skin because it goes perfect with the name and the colour scheme is lovely. But I also love the packaging of Porefessional, it's matte but it comes in such a pretty box with a flyer of how to use Porefessional, which for the price I kind of expected all of this luxury.
Now if you're new to make-up and you're unsure of what I'm rambling on about... I'm writing about two of the most talked about primers in the beauty world! Maybelline Baby Skin is drug-store and it retails for around £7.99 and Benefit Porefessional is high-end and costs £24.50.

Baby Skin Porefessional
When comparing the formula's of both products they are different. Baby Skin is a clear silicone gel and Porefessional is more of a translucent balm. They both do the job of concealing pores but as expected Porefessional performs better, and as a high-end product I expected it to. Although it does work better Baby Skin makes your skin so so so soft which definitely gives it a standing chance when both. With Baby Skin I like to wait a few minutes before I put my foundation on as it can slide off but with Porefessional you can apply it near enough straight away.

Baby Skin Porefessional
Benefit's Porefessional is my favourite out of these two products as it does work better for me, but if you cannot afford it (because it is quite expensive) definitely try Baby Skin because it is good and at £7.99 it's a lot cheaper.

January Favourites
17:23
Welcome to my first end of the month favourites. As I started this blog at the beginning of January I haven't had a chance to do a favourites post so here it is; my January favourites! I love reading/watching these types of posts as it's a great way of finding new products so I hope you enjoy mine!
But first of all... Where has this month flown by? It's gone past so quickly I feel like my University time is flying by weeks at a time. So scary! Anyway, back to the post.
All of my favourites are what I've bought in January apart from my beloved Studio Fix Foundation that was bought at the end of December (so near to Jan. aha). My favourites are a mixture of affordable drugstore products and a few more luxury high-end products.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
16:22
Hello lovelies. Sorry there hasn't been a blog post in a while but I've been super busy doing Uni work and revising for exams. But over the next few days I plan to blog mostly every day.
So a few weeks ago my lovely boyfriend bought me the Studio Fix Foundation from MAC, it is the first high-end product I've tried and I love love love it! It's the best foundation I've ever used and I have tried quite a few!
This foundation gives an all-day flawless finish, it lasts all day and it covers up uneven skin tone, blemishes and redness. It glides over dry patches and keeps the oil at bay so it's pretty perfect for my combination skin. I recommend it for any skin type as it is so so good!
It's priced at £21.50 and I know that is expensive for a foundation but the quality and lasting power is amazing. It is definitely worth every penny.
The most amazing thing is the shades of the foundation, there are so many shades to choose from! From light to dark and anything in between, so you're going to find the perfect shade for you. As I'm super pale I expected their lightest shade to be too dark for me but it's a perfect match! I got NW10 which stands for "not warm" so it's for cooler tones like pink and NC is "not cool" so it's for warmer tones like yellow. I believe that MAC do their shades backwards with the "not cool" and "not warm" but if you're confused you can go and ask the lovely women of MAC and they will help you find the perfect foundation for yourself.
The only negative that I have for this foundation is the fact that it doesn't come with a pump, but the pumps can be purchased for an extra £4 (which is a bit expensive, but you only need to get a pimp once) but if you were good at measuring your foundation out there wouldn't be a need to buy one.
I only use my MAC foundation on the days I have a few more breakouts than usual and on special occasions as I don't want it to run out so soon. I'll definitely be purchasing this again though, or maybe try another foundation from the MAC range.

High-end wishlist
00:08
I love high-street products because they're affordable and good quality. But after recently purchasing MAC's Studio Fix Fluid Foundation I'm warming up to the idea of purchasing more expensive make-up because of how luxurious it is. Here are a few things that I would like to try:
MAC lipstick. I've been wanting a MAC lipstick for a while now and I've heard so many good things about it. From what I've read and what my friends have told me is that these lipsticks last near enough all day, sounds pretty perfect to me! I hate having to reapply my lipstick throughout the day and I especially hate lipstick marks on my food/drink. If MAC lipsticks are this good I can definitely justify spending £15 on one. As I'm pale with blonde hair normally pinky/red shades suit me, is there any MAC colours that you would recommend ? I'm hoping to buy one (or maybe two, I could get carried away!) in a few days when I go to Newcastle as Sunderland doesn't have a MAC (I cried inside a little when I found this out).
Urban Decay Naked Pallet 3. I'm sure most of you are wanting this/have already got it and I can see why, the colours are amazing! I'm a big fan of neutral shades because it's a big everyday look and I normally wear white/browns/pinks on my eyes as it definitely works for everyday wear. The packaging, the shades, the brush, it's just so luxurious. The only thing that puts me off is the price tag, at £37 it's a bit steep but when you look at the product you can see why! I'm hoping to get this, I just need to do a bit of saving up first. What's your favourite shade in the Naked 3 pallet? I'm torn between burnout and mugshot.
Is there any thing on your high-end wishlist or anything that you recommend?
