GUEST BLOGGER POPPY CARTER: Elf Contour Blush & Bronzer Review

Hi there!

My blog is http://poppycarter.blogspot.co.uk/ where I upload beauty and fashion inspired posts. I inspire to be a fashion/portrait photographer and I try my hardest to include this within my blog. I love all things fashion/beauty as it is a daily part of my getting ready regime, so why not turn it into a hobby? I started mainly on Instagram which I will leave a link to here. I hope you all enjoy my guest blog.

ELF HAUL

Today I have for you another haul post. This would have been posted last week but the parcel was too big to go through the letterbox (boo).

ELF had a deal on (not sure if it's still on) that if you spent £30 or more you would your order for half price plus free delivery. I have some ELF products already and I love them! ELF has great quality products at purse friendly prices, so whatever budge you are on you can definitely afford ELF's quality make-up.

Bronzing brush///Fan brush///Healthy Glow bronzer - Warm Tan///Eye enhancing shadow - blue eyes/// Blusher - Tickled Pink///Blush and bronzing contour pallet (looks similar to Nars, possible dupe?!)

Nail polish - Party Purple///Lipsticks - Fearless (red) Seductive (pink///Shimmer eye liner pencil - Black Bandit/// Lip liner - Natural Blusher///Jumbo lip gloss stick - Tiki Torches

Pigment eyeshadows left to right - Smoke///Naughty Noir///Breezy Blue///Nude

I got all of this for £16 delivered! I can't wait to try everything, expect swatches and reviews in the future. :)

Do you have any ELF products? Would you want to purchase any? Let me know.

Beauty Bargains #1 - ELF eye shadow pallet

So I thought I would add a beauty bargains feature to my blog as I love hearing about other people's bargains and I'd like to share mine.

I got this eye shadow pallet from ELF a few weeks ago for the bargain price of £3! £3 for 32 eye shadows is amazing so I snapped up this deal while I could.

The eye shadows are a mixture of mattes and shimmer and there's a colour for every occasion, they blend well, they stay on and they're very pigmented. For £3 you can't go wrong!

I love ELF products already but this pallet makes me love them more. If they're still selling them I'd recommend buying one.

Should I post more beauty bargains on my blog?

January Favourites

Welcome to my first end of the month favourites. As I started this blog at the beginning of January I haven't had a chance to do a favourites post so here it is; my January favourites! I love reading/watching these types of posts as it's a great way of finding new products so I hope you enjoy mine!

But first of all... Where has this month flown by? It's gone past so quickly I feel like my University time is flying by weeks at a time. So scary! Anyway, back to the post.

All of my favourites are what I've bought in January apart from my beloved Studio Fix Foundation that was bought at the end of December (so near to Jan. aha). My favourites are a mixture of affordable drugstore products and a few more luxury high-end products.

How much is my face worth?

I've seen few of my favourite blogs do this post so I thought I would give it a try!. As I mainly use drug-store make-up I'm interested into how much I actually spend on my daily face routine.

Current skincare is;
 - Skinology Tea Tree Face Wash - 99p
 - Skinology Tea Tree Blackhead cleanser - 99p
 - Avon Care Light Moisture Refreshing Face Gel Cream - £3.50

Current make-up is;

MaxFactor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 foundation - £11.99
StarGazer White Foundation - £3.99
MaxFactor Pan Stick - £6.99
LOREAL Nude Magique BB Powder - £6.99
Elf healthy glow bronzing powder - £1.50
Elf Baked Blush - £3.75
Elf Duo Eye Shadow Cream - £1.50
Natural Collection Duo Eyeshadow - £1.99
Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner - £5.29
Rimmel Scandeleyes Volume Flash Mascara - £6.99
MaxFactor Lipfinity - £10.99

The total comes to £67.45 and that's quite good for all the make-up I'm using. I thought it would be more so it was a pleasant surprise. If you've done this tag then comment below, I'd love to know how much your face is worth.
