September Favourites

I haven't done a monthly beauty favourites in what seems like forever! So today I'm kicking it old school and sharing with you my beauty favourites for the month of September.

I'm sorry I haven't taken the images myself. Michael and I are currently housed in a Travelodge because our building had a leak and we were left without electric and water - total nightmare!

My first favourite is an eyeshadow brush from Sigma, their Medium Sweeper E54* is the perfect size for packing colour onto the lid. It isn't too dense so you can slightly blend out shadow with it too.

The Maybelline Colour Sensational Creamy Mattes are my favourite lipstick from the drugstore. I'm a matte lip addict and I get a total fix with these creamy, long-lasting lipsticks. Nude Embrace is my favourite shade at the moment, paired under a nude pink lip liner, it's perfect for my pale skin tone.

When Debenhams had 40 per cent off of the Make Up For Ever HD foundation I just had to try it! The lightest shade on the website was 110 so I took a gamble and it certainly paid off. This shade is super light and actually matches my skin tone. This foundation makes my skin look flawless whilst looking super natural and it feels weightless. It has now been replaced my the Ultra HD Foundation but I'm sure that's as great too!

I've always looked at the Barry M Contour Kit in Boots but never actually picked it up because I thought it would be too dark for me. I love it! The shades aren't too dark and the contour shade is perfect for emulating cheekbones with a light hand.

The best highlighter on the market? I've raved on and on about The Balm's Mary Lou Manizer so you'll have to take mine - and every bloggers - word for it and try it out for yourself.

What have you been enjoying this month?

Current High-End Favourites

Hello girlies, today I will be sharing with you the high-end products I have been showing a lot of love to lately.

June Favourites

It’s that time of the month again, favourites time! I love watching these types of videos on YouTube, I find them to be great if I’m searching for new products to try. Which is all the time… Anyone with me? Haha!

April Favourites

It's that time again, April is nearly over so that means it's time for a favourites post! I don't have many favourites this month because I didn't have any money to spend! But I'm sure my May favourites may be rather large as my student loan just came in on Monday... I think I need to put myself on a spending ban, ahah.

March Favourites

Hello lovelies, it's 2 April, 2014 and that means one thing... It's monthly favourites time! I haven't bought any new products in a while because I can't afford it, damn being a student! But here are some rediscoveries and products I've given a second chance that I would now consider as my favourites of the month of March.

March Favourites

L'Oreal True Match Foundation: I'll be honest, the first time I tried this foundation I didn't see the hype... I'm a full coverage kinda girl and I instantly went back to my MAC Studio Fix Foundation. But after my skin taking a turn for the worse and becoming very dry this foundation has now become my holy grail. It's medium coverage and it doesn't cling to my dry patches, hooray! Better yet, it comes in a range of shades with pink, neutral and yellow undertones. Something that is very rare in the drugstore!

L'Oreal True Match

L'Oreal Collection Privee, Julienne's nude: I won't go into too much detail about this product as I've done a full review on it here. But this has been my go to lipstick this month, I'm obsessed with nudes as I hate worrying about my lipstick throughout the day. L'Oreal have hit the money with this product.

L'Oreal Collection Privee

Miss Sporty Metal Flip Nail Varnish: I'm not too sure on the name of this nail varnish but it is beautiful. It's an iridescent shade so it appears blue but in the light it's green. I find myself staring and moving my nails around when I'm wearing this varnish aha, it brings out the inner child. Best yet it's only £1.99!

Real Techniques Contour Brush: I love this brush for contour and highlight. It's the perfect size to sculpt my cheekbones and I find it makes contouring that bit easier. I love Real Techniques brushes as they're amazing quality, wash well and they're so soft!

Le Volume De Chanel: This is actually a sample that I got ages ago in 2013, it's been more than three months and it hasn't dried up. This mascara makes my eyelashes voluminous, separated and it adds length. It's such a good mascara but at the £25 price tag I'm not sure I would buy it full size.

That's it for my monthly favourites, keep your eyes peeled for a monthly empties coming soon!

What was in your March favourites?

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick

These beauties have been my go to lipsticks for the past month. I love love love pink lipsticks and these are the perfect shades.

On the left is Speak Louder and to the right is Speed Dial (£15 each).

The formula is cremesheen and this means that they're super creamy but also very pigmented, so one swipe and you're good to go! These are the only MAC lippies that I own but I'm dying to get my hands on a Matte one as I don't really wear a matte lip.

If you're looking for a nourishing lipstick then these are the ones to go for. They last for a good few hours and most importantly they don't dry out your lips.

The packaging is the classic MAC bullet and I adore the packaging, it's super sleek so it fits in my make-up back with no worries.
I'll definitely be purchasing more!

What are your favourite lipsticks?

February Favourites

Hello March, lets hope you will be warmer... So it's that time of the month again for the favourites posts! These are my favourite types of posts as I love hearing about what other people have been loving this month and getting some recommendations.

My favourites will be divided into beauty, skincare and haircare. I've been loving a lot this month. I hope you enjoy!

Beauty favourites
L'Oreal Intense Lipstick 290: I'm not one for purple lipsticks but this shade is gorgeous. It says it's for blondes and it does compliment my hair colour well. It's perfect for that sexy vampy look.

L'Oreal Infallible 24hr foundation: This foundation is amazing. Like seriously, so amazing for £9.99! I love high coverage as I have bad skin and this covers it it beautifully.

MAC Studio Finish Concealer: This is the best concealer I've tried. It hides spots and dark circles completely and it doesn't crease when set with powder.

MAC Dainty Mineralise Blush: If you've seen my MAC collection you would have seen this gorgeous blush. It's my favourite blush ever, it's natural and so so pretty.

Sleek Face Kit: This contour kit is a must in every girls make-up bag. I'm really pale and the brown contour suits my skin so well without looking muddy.

Benefit Porefessional: I love how well this fills in my pores and keeps shine at bay all day. It's perfect for my porous skin.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: Holy grail product right here! I only got this a few weeks ago and I'm obsessed with it. Beauty blender who?! I've heard this is great dupe for the beauty blender and it's so much cheaper! Expect a full review soon.

Now that's all for my beauty favourites. Lets move onto skincare...

Skincare favourites

Recently I've changed up my skincare routine and my skin looks a lot better.

LUSH Mask of Magnanimity: I use this two, maybe three times a week and it helps reduce my angry spots. A major plus is that when it's dried and you scrub it off it exfoliates the skin and leaves it so so smooth. It smells amazing and it feels like you're at a spa with it's fresh cooling fragrance.

LUSH Grease Lightening: I use this every morning and night, it helps dry out my spots and heal them quicker. Although it's only a small bottle you only need half a pump to do the job. Perfect!

Neutrogena Spot Stress Control: This takes me back to my teenage years and I'm so glad I've revisited it. It's a perfect everyday face wash, it has micro beads that exfoliate gently, it leaves the skin soft and it smells so good!

That's it for skincare, lets move onto haircare.

Haircare favourites

I know what you're thinking, that's a lot of orange... It is. In fact I'm obsessed with Herbal Essences Bee Strong range. It smells amazing, leaves your hair stronger and smoother. What's not to love? I like using all together so my hair keeps that delicious honey smell.

Herbal Essences Bee Strong shampoo and conditioner, Bee Strong hair mask and Bee Strong leave in conditioner.

Bee Strong Hair Mask
I'm definitely repurchasing this when I run out. It's so so good!

That's all for my favourites. I hope you enjoyed! Please leave your favourites post down below, I'd love to read it. :)
