Foundation Favourites - Drug-store Edition

Today I will be sharing with you my top three drug-store affordable foundations. I don’t own many high-end foundations so the majority of mine are good old drug-store! The high-street have definitely upped their game with foundations and I can actually now find a good colour match for my ghostly pale skin.

June Empties & Mini Reviews

It's that time of the month again and how these months are flying by! Today I will be sharing with you all the products I have used up in the month of June.

NIVEA Cashmere Moments cream shower oil: I'm always switching my shower gels around but I really enjoyed using this. It smelled great and left my skin feeling lovely and soft. It was only £1 or so from Wilko too!

Would I repurchase? Yeah.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Magic Touch Instant Blur Primer: I love this product, it smooths skin, reduces the look of pores and helps prolong foundation. I reviewed this product in full here.

Would I repurchase? Definitely!

Garnier Moisture Match dry to very dry skin moisturiser: This is a very thick heavy moisturiser so it's great for dry skinned gals like me. I only used it before bed as it's too think for the day. I liked the smell and it hydrated my skin.

Would I repurchase? Yep!

Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm: I do like this product, it removes make-up well and it doesn't have a scent. The only two problems are that it stings my eyes a little bit and I feel like it didn't last very long.

Would I repurchase? Nope.

Clean & Clear Advantage Spot Treatment: This has become my holy grail spot treatment. It's cheap and it reduces the size of spots within a few hours.

Would I repurchase? Already have.

Lush Mask of Magnaminty: I love this face mask and it has lasted me quite a few months! It's great for calming down my skin and when it is washed off the granules in the mask ex-foliate the skin too. So it's two products in one! You can read my full review here.

Would I repurchase? Yes!

Have you used up many products this month?

GUEST BLOGGER Ottilie Sandford: Summer highlights

Hi I'm Ottilie and I write a blog called Urban Beautie, I recently got given the opportunity to write a post for Freshly Pressed Beauty and so today I'm going to be talking about my favourite highlighters for summer. At the end of the post I will link all of my social media accounts so remember to follow me on there as well as checking out my blog where I upload every odd day of the month.

TAG: I ♡ Drugstore Makeup

1. What is your favourite drug store make-up brand overall?

I can't choose one, it's too hard! I'm gonna say Rimmel and Maybelline. Maybelline's mascaras are amazing and Rimmel's foundations are fab!

2. What are your favourite face, cheek and lip products?

L'Oreal's True Match Foundation and Revlon Colourstay are some of my favourite foundations. I love Topshop's cream blush in flush and for lip products I'm gonna go with Rimmel's Kate Moss lipsticks, they smell amazing and there are loads of gorgeous colours to choose from.

3. Least favourite product?

Rimmel's Scandaleyes Retro Glam mascara.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

Hi lovelies, today's post is going to be something different in the form of a first impression. I love seeing these types of videos on YouTube, I find them really insightful and useful.

Yesterday I received my Nars Sheer Glow foundation in the post, there seems to be a shortage of Mont Blanc in the UK so I ordered it from House of Fraser. I was so excited to try it so I put some make-up on straight away.

REVIEW: Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

Hi lovelies, I hope you are all having a great day. Today I will be reviewing Rimmel's Match Perfection foundation. Overall I love Rimmel, they have great quality affordable make-up and I especially love their lipsticks.

This foundation used to be my holy grail a year or so ago, I wasn't into wearing loads of make-up but foundation was always a must-have for me. I used to love this foundation because at the time the drugstore shade range was awful, "ivory" was two shades darker than my skin tone and gave me the dreaded orange tide-line, until I found this beauty.

GUEST BLOGGER SARAH FOOTE: Top five summer lipsticks

I post on there pretty much every day and would love to interact with you that way. If you want to hear about my top five lipstick picks for the summer, keep reading!

Hey lovelies, I hope you are all well and having a fab day! The weather is so awful again so I apologise for the pictures.

I did go on a spending ban for two/three weeks and I didn't buy myself a single make-up item. So I treated myself with a few bits.

Guest bloggers for freshlypressedbeauty

Hi girls, this post is going to be short and sweet but I wanted to share with you something that will be happening on my blog. I've spoken to a few beauty bloggers and asked them to write guest posts for my blog. Guest bloggers will feature every Tuesday and Thursday, starting with this Thursday.

I thought that this would be a great way to revamp my blog and the content I share. As I've finished my second year of University I have a lot of free time and I want to put that back into my blog - to make it the best that it can be.

I've devised a schedule up until June 24 of guest bloggers. I would love more of you to join in so please leave your emails below if you would like to guest blog for me.

Love, Daniella x

Evening Skincare Routine

Hey lovelies, I hope you're all having a great day. It's rather gloomy here in Sunderland so I apologise for the lack of brightness in my photos. Today I'm sharing with you my evening skincare routine, this is the routine I use if I've been wearing make-up that day. I've been using this routine for a while just switching up a few products. My skin is dry but I also get a few spots, so I have to deal with the breakout and make sure I moisturise well.
