Heya guys! My name is Megan and I run things over at My Pretty Apparel. I have very excitingly been offered the opportunity to write a guest post on Freshly Pressed Beauty and I couldn't be more thrilled. Beauty bloggers coming together to just have a good old natter, what's better? So, I have decided to show you all my MAC lipstick collection. Personally, I love reading 'collection' posts whether that be lip products, eye shadow or even shoes. So I really hope you enjoy taking a peak through my MAC lipstick collection...

To be completely honest, I don't wear lipstick everyday and am much more an eyeshadow kind of girl. This is definitely something I am trying to change as I always admire the girls that manage to have a perfect pout all day long. My all time favourite lip definitely has to be a nude lip, think 'yours but better'.
Costa Chic -Frosty light coral | Frost
This is one of the most vibrant colours I have (I know, I'm not massively adventurous with lips) and I do really love it, I think paired with a grey smokey eye this looks amazing. I also love that although this is a frost finish lipstick it's not massively shimmery or glittery.
Creme cup -Light blue pink | Cremesheen
Surprise surprise, this is possibly my favourite lipstick from my collection as I said earlier I love a nude lip. I love big smokey eyes and I think it just sets off the look perfectly. Worn alone it looks amazing but for an extra glam look I pop on a gloss on top (usually MAC's plushglass in Power Supply).
Trouble maker -Super glittery pink | Dazzle Lipstick
Okay, so I am pretty sure this was a limited edition lipstick as I cannot find it anywhere online. I personally love this lipstick, it is very Barbie! A super glittery fuchsia pink which looks amazing on nights out!
Frou -Soft beige with silver shimmer | Glaze
Not entirely sure why I chose this lipstick, I personally think it is far too pale and it also comes out very 'silver' which isn't a good look for me. Who knows, maybe with a gloss on top of this is could look really pretty, I'll have to give it a go.
New York Apple -Muted red with pink shimmer | Frost
I definitely don't wear this shade enough, I love it. Again, it isn't too shimmery and really does brighten up my complexion. I also like that its a bit different from your average red lip.
Pretty please -Pale pink pearl | Lustre
You can probably tell, this was my first ever MAC lipstick and it's safe to say I would still repurchase this and love it as much as I do. This shade is definitely one I would feel comfortable wearing everyday as it is just a subtle pale pink with a slight shimmer to it. It also looks amazing with a smokey eye.
Dare you -Deep brown red | Cremesheen
As I am not a massive fan of a bright red lip I find that this is the perfect alternative for me. A smouldering
deep red which definitely makes a statement. It would recommend this lipstick to anyone, it's that gorgeous.
Saint Germain -Clean pastel pink |Amplified
Again, I have no idea why I bought this lipstick. I personally think it looks absolutely hideous on me and completely washes me out. I does actually look really nice when you swatch it but when it's on my lips I just can't wait to take it off.
Freckletone -Natural peach |Lustre
I think this lipstick looks really pretty in the summer when you are slightly sun-kissed, it is very 'Australian beach girl'... if that makes sense to anyone else?
So there we have it, my MAC lipstick collection. I am looking to get some more colours and perhaps be slightly more experimental with my colour range so if you know any that you think I will like please leave a comment down below.
