There's a trend at the moment where women are using cloths to remove their make-up with only water added, crazy right? I've been testing Removeil's* version, does it work?
Yes, yes it does! You simply wet the cloth and run it over your face and you will see your make-up erased.
Here's what Removeil say:
"Silver fibre is made by bonding 99,9% pure metallic silver to the surface of a textile fiber. When in contact with water, silver activates its power and releases ions, which kill bacteria and germs causing acne and other unpleasant skin conditions. Silver affects skin in several positive ways, helping to hinder imperfections and stimulate microcirculation while doing a gentle exfoliation, brightening up the skin. "
It gently exfoliates the skin while removing all traces of make-up. I like to use it as the first part of my routine to wipe away the majority of my make-up.
Although it claims to remove waterproof make-up, it doesn't take off my stubborn waterproof mascara.
I wouldn't use this cloth as my only cleanse as I wear a lot of make-up. It definitely helps me do my routine a lot quicker, though!
To clean the Removeil you simply use soap and hot water, it's recommended that it goes into the wash every month to give it a deep clean.
It costs £24.99 which I think is very steep considering there are other more affordable microfibre cleansing cloths on the market. It lasts up to six months before you should replace it.
