Rimmel Kate Moss Lipsticks Review and Swatches

A few weeks ago I bought two of the Rimmel Kate Moss Matte lipsticks (I say bought, I got them with my Boots points, aha). These lipsticks are on offer for £3.99 at the moment in Boots so it's a great bargain to be had!

A year ago I did purchase one of these lipsticks and I loved it so I bought it again, but it took me a long time to actually purchase it but I'm so glad I did.

First off lets start with the packaging. It's beautiful, I love the colour of the container and I love how "Kate" is signed on too.

The two shades I picked up were 110 (had this one before) and 107. 110 is a beautiful pink/coral colour and it's perfect for spring/summer or if you want to add to your make-up with a bold lip. 107 is a gorgeous dark plum shade and it's perfect purple as it isn't too bright.

I love a Matte finish and it's hard to find good ones at the drugstore as there isn't that many. The only downfall to this product is that it does dry your lips out and the wear isn't long at around 1-2 ish hours. But if you're okay with reapplying throughout the day then I definitely recommend this.

What's your favourite finish? Matte or gloss?

MUA Blushers and Swatches

If you're looking for a blusher and you're on a tight budget then read on, because I've found the perfect blusher for you. Make Up Academy blushers are only £1, yes just £1! Amazing right?!

I picked up a Make Up Academy blusher because I wanted to see just how good the quality it for so little money. I'm pleasantly surprised! They're very pigmented, come in a range of colours and they last all day.

I went back to Superdrug to buy another one and now I have two. The only problem is that my local Superdrug never has all of them in stock at once, if they did I think I would have bought them all! If you don't live in the UK or you can't find any in your local Superdrug you can buy them online here.

The packaging is so sleek and perfect to fit in your handbag. The colours range from pink to orange so there's something for everyone.

MUA Blusher

I have Cupcake (peachy one) and Candyfloss (pink one). Cupcake is a matte blusher and perfect for everyday wear, it creates a natural finish which looks really subtle. Cupcake is a shimmery blush, perfect for a flush of colour but not too shimmery so you can still have a natural finish.

Have you tried any MUA blushers?
