The Sunday Edit #20 - Meet My Baby Sister & Interviewing Lower Than Atlantis?!

Hi girls, I hope everyone has had a lovely week! Mine has been extremely stressful, as a third year student with deadlines around the corner I am sure you can imagine! I really want to blog at least once a week, so when I'm winding down from doing some uni work I'm going to try and write up some posts! In the past few weeks quite a few things have happened. I went home for Easter and met my new baby sister Lexi, she is two months old and the cutest thing I have ever seen! It's crazy how alike we look too (apologies for the portrait photos).

Me and my friend and fellow mag journo Leah got the opportunity to interview Mike from Lower Than Atlantis and Jack from We Are The Ocean. I was crazy nervous but it all went really well! We went to see them afterwards and they were amazing! If you would like to read my review you can do here.

On the 20th me and most of my uni friends went to The Fat Hippo in Newcastle for some loan day treats. I've never been before and I didn't expect the burgers to be so big, or as tasty!

Last week me and my boyfriend Michael went to the beach for a nice walk and some chips and ice cream! It was a lovely day and I can't wait to stay in Sunderland for the summer, I love sunny trips to the beach (and it is only 35ish mins walk away!).

This week (Tuesday) me and Michael met up with my best friends in York to celebrate her 21st birthday. It was a 1920s themed party so I rocked a cool-toned smokey eye and a red lip. I applied falsies for the first time and I don't know how you gals do it (the struggle is real)! The following day we went for a walk around York and went on a drive yourself boat along the River Ouse. Apart from nearly going into the river bank and toppling the boat over it went pretty well. It was a lovely sunny day and that added the perfect topping to an amazing trip to York.
