August Favourites

Hello September! I'm actually really glad that it's September, soon it'll be August and the jumpers will be back. I'm not a huge fan of Summer to be honest. With the months flying by it will soon be my 21st birthday and then Christmas, eeee!
September should be a good month, it's moving back to University and moving in with my boyfriend and starting my third final year. How exciting!

Now, lets get to the favourites. I don't have a lot because I haven't been trying new things, some of these are new and old favourites.
If you've been following me on Instagram this will probably comes as no surprise. My favourite base this month has been Revlon's Colourstay foundation, I love this high-coverage bottle of goodness. It gives me a flawless complexion and high-coverage without clinging to dry patches. I have the dry/normal version and I much prefer it to the oily/combo offering. Under my foundation I've been using L'Oreal's Lumi Magique Primer, it gives a lit from within glow with no shimmer or glitter! For lips I've been loving Collection's Cream Puff Matte Lip Creams, they give a lovely opaque, even colour to the lips and they stay put for a good few hours. They're not overly drying either and they're a total bargain at £2.99! A skincare savour this month has been Magnitone's Lucid Face Brush* (full review here), it helps buff away dry skin to give your skin more radiance. It helps clean my skin of all impurities and dirt and my skin has seen less breakouts since using this product.
What have you been loving this month?

  1. The Revlon Colorstay Foundation will always be at the top of my Boots wishlist. I have been wearing it for years, it was the first liquid foundation I ever purchased and I have tried many since then (including expensive high end ones..) I'n my opinion, nothing compares to it! A great dupe for MAC Studio Fix (If not better) and Double Wear x
