REVIEW: Revlon Colourstay foundation

I'm sure you're all bored of me mentioning my best friend Revlon Colourstay in blog posts and on Instagram. That being said I have found my new holy grail foundation, yes that's right... I do still love L'Oreal True Match though, I haven't forgot about him.
I own both versions of Revlon Colourstay: normal/dry and oily/combo. Originally I owned the oily/combo version and loved it, however I did find that it clung to my dry patches and could look a bit cakey. I decided to go out and buy the normal/dry version. It's way more suited to my skin type and even though I do tend to get a tiny bit oily throughout the day, it still controls that oil without clinging to dry patches.
The reason why Colourstay is my holy grail is because of the lasting powder and coverage it has to offer. I suffer from mild/moderate acne and I still have scarring. Revlon Colourstay helps make my face look as flawless as it can look and it stays put until you take it off.

I think it's the best drug-store foundation out there and it comes in a varitety of shades. I have the lightest shade - Ivory. Ivory is a perfect match for my pale complexion as it has a pink undertone. I don't think any other foundation competes with the coverage, price and lasting power of Revlon Colourstay.
What's your favourite full coverage foundation?

  2. I want to try a new foundation once I've finished the one I've got.. But there's so many foundations I want to try - The colourstay, Rimmel lasting finish, Rimmel wake me up, L'oreal true match... I can only afford one and don't know which to pick!? I know you've tried all of these!;) so which one would you recommend I try? I have combo skin (I tend to get an oily t-zone throughout the day, my cheeks are normal, and I'm prone to a few breakouts. I've also got some light spots scars) Great post by the way, I know you said you didn't like the idea of vlogging, but your blog posts are so good I think you should give it a try ☺
