Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation Review

Hi girlies, today I will be reviewing Rimmel's lastest foundation release, the Lasting Finish 25 Hour Nude foundation. I have blogged a first impressions of this product which you can read here. I wear the shade light porcelain and it's a perfect match for me.
Rimmel claim for the foundation to have: "skin perfecting medium coverage" and I do really agree. This foundation has a lovely medium coverage but I find it to build really easily too without going cakey. I'm a full coverage kinda gal and I really like the way this foundation builds up and covers my imperfections.
It claims to have a "nude, lightweight" feel and I do agree with this claim too. I'm used to wearing my beloved Revlon Colourstay and Rimmel's offering has that barely-there feel and I love it. I feel like even though I have the coverage I don't have that heavy feeling on my skin.
As for the 25 hour claim? Why do companies even bother... I don't think I will ever be awake for that long so... 25 Hours?! It does still look good after 10 hours though, I find I do become a tiny bit oily but nothing a powder touch-up can't sort out.
Lasting Finish has a natural finish and it looks gorgeous on the skin. It doesn't cling to dry patches and it's good for oil control my dry/combo skin.
Overall I really rate this foundation, it's a great alternative to Revlon Colourstay if you don't like heavy foundations on your skin.

    1. The MaxFactor FaceFinity is apparently a dupe for that one, so if you can find that one give it a go. :) xx
