Maybelline Lasting Drama Black Shock Gel Eye Liner Review

I'm sure you have all heard of Benefit's new release - They're Real Push Up Liner and if you haven't where have you been? Like most I wasn't going to buy it as it's pretty expensive and there are loads of mixed reviews. Then I came across someone on YouTube talking about this gel liner-pen hybrid.
The concept is the same as the Benefit one, a gel liner in a pen form. No brush needed as it's all in one handy pen. It has a slanted tip that helps you define your lash-line as well as creating a precise flick. I must admit I do have a love/hate relationship with this product. Sometimes it goes on with ease and stays put all day and other times it takes ages to master the wing and it transfers to my crease area.

Maybelline have created a good product as the gel formula is really black and it does stay put all day. I would recommend setting the gel with a lot of black eye shadow, just so it doesn't transfer. The application does take some time to master but once you have got it you're pretty much set!
If you don't feel like splashing £20ish on the Benefit version I would definitely recommend trying Maybelline's offering.
