REVIEW: Maybelline Volum' Express The Colossal Waterproof Mascara

Isn't that a pretty long name for a mascara? I'm sure I would be tongue-tied saying it, haha. Today I will be reviewing Maybelline's Colossal waterproof mascara. 
My eyes are very sensitive and water all the time so I thought it was about time that I tried a waterproof mascara so I didn't end up with black running down my face. 
When I first tried this mascara I didn't like it very much. The formula was very wet and it didn't seem to dry on my lashes. Normally after putting mascara on, my lashes would be hard because the mascara would have been drying but this mascara didn't seem to try and I didn't like it that much.

I must admit that I did neglect it for a few weeks and then I decided to try it again. After one stroke it was love... The formula had dried down and made it easier to work with. 

This mascara promises volume and it delivers. My lashes are pretty long anyway but I love having long thick voluminous lashes. Sometimes the mascara does clump but nothing that bothers me. As for the waterproof claim? It's is 100 per cent waterproof. I have cried in this mascara and haven't ended up 
with the dreaded black lines all down my face.

It's a thumbs up from me!

    Sounds like a lovely mascara! I'm too attached to my holy grail, Loreal Telescopic and Rimmel X Volume Flash to try anything else haha!

      I've never tried a L'Oreal Mascara but I want to after hearing so many good things about them! x

    Thanks very much for the positive review! I've heard so many people bashing this mascara that I've been quite frightened approaching it. It's great to hear that the formula is as waterproof as it claims to be. I'll definitely try it out one day!

    I always find maybelline mascaras work better when they've been left to dry out for a week or so because the wet formula is quite hard to work with x
