Guest Blogger Kassi - Four Or More Products ft. Barry M, MAC, Topshop & More

Hello there! As Daniella is away on her holidays (I'm not at all jealous...), she has enlisted the help of some fellow bloggers to guest blog here on Freshly Pressed Beauty. Let me introduce myself - my name is Kassi, I have my own lifestyle, fashion, and beauty blog over at KassiElla and I am a Netflix addict. The post that I have chosen to bring to you all today is entitled 'Four or More', which was inspired by my flatmate Cat's blog post. So without further ado, onto the post!
To own four or more of one product can only mean one thing - you are madly, deeply, and passionately in love with it. Forever on the look-out for new beauty products that I can dig my claws into, I've always loved a cheeky look into somebody else's collection to gather some inspiration. With four or more in their possession, there is little to no risk factor at all, as you're assured that what you are buying is not a fluke - it's a sure thing. I have chosen to share four products that I own four or more of, so let's dive straight in…
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine nail polishes have been on the market for quite some time now, and my collection has rocketed from zero to over thirty in the space of a year. Instead of parading all of my beautiful shades in front of your longing eyes, I decided to pick my current favourite six. The first four shades are actually from the Barry M Autumn collection, which I snapped up as soon as they were on the shelves. The other two, Elderberry and Prickly Pear, are two of my all time favourites. The remarkable thing about the gelly formula is it's long lasting ability - I can wear one colour on my nails for a week with barely a scratch here or there. If you're not quite in the budget to purchase actual gel nails, I would highly recommend an investment in Barry M's gelly range. There are just so many beautiful colours to choose from... heaven forbid when new shades are released!
L-R: Chilli, Mustard, Cardamom, Chai, Elderberry, Prickly Pear
L-R: Brave, Creme Cup, Ruby Woo, Pink Plaid, Up The Amp, Plumful
Next up is a given for any beauty blogger - my MAC lipstick collection. This is another love of mine that has taken over my life for the last 9 months - beginning with zero, and building my way up to seven. Thinking about it, there is no other lipstick in my collection that I have reached for over the last two months other than one of these bad boys. My personal favourite, and the shade that I wear on a day-to-day basis is 'Brave'. As a pinky-nude, it complements my olive skin tone, is suitable for all possible outfit choices, and is the perfect work tone. Another shade close to my heart is 'Plumful'. This is a shade that I was the hunt for for a very long time, and I almost screamed with relief when I found it sitting amongst the MAC lipstick stand. With nine different finishes, and over 150 shades to choose from, there is definitely something for everybody.
L-R: Unfold, Hanky Panky, Confess, Everybody Get Up, Port De Bras, Keepin' It Sweet
Yet another nail polish brand that I am completed besotted with. A little bit more on the expensive side, these are the only six Topshop shades that I currently own. The first three are a matte finish, which are absolutely incredible. Who doesn't love a matte nail once in a while?! Of the remaining three, two are a plain gloss, and 'Everybody Get Up' is a little bit special - it includes little white flecks. The Topshop formula is flawless, with two coats to perfect any nail look, with a stretch to three for the matte colours. They dry almost instantly, making life a little bit easier when going about your daily routine. Considering my nail polish addiction, I'm quite surprised and proud that I only manage to possess six of these beauties. Perhaps I should take another trip to Topshop…
The last four or more product that I'm going to discuss with you is a haircare product - Aussie Volume Shampoo & Conditioner. If you're anything like me, then you'll suffer from an extreme case of thin and boring hair. It's not a fun trait to possess, as it forces your life goal to be dedicated towards finding something that will finally lift your hair. After a crazy witch hunt, I finally managed to track down a product that works! Aussie Volume does the impossible; it breathes life into my otherwise flat mane. After purchasing the haircare pair back in July, I could never be without a replacement bottle in my bathroom, hence its inclusion in this four or more post.
And there we have it - a small look into my haircare and beauty collection. I strongly stand by all of the products that I have mentioned, and am positive that they will all continue to effect my bank balance drastically... but money's there for spending, right? I would like to say a massive thank you to Daniella for letting me guest blog for her, and I hope that you all have enjoyed discovering my four or mores!
